Citizens on Patrol

Citizens on Patrol (COPs) has two dedicated marked cars available to assist patrol. Members pair up to go out and assist patrol by checking hotels, shopping areas, parks, neighborhoods, and extra areas designated by shift supervisors. We provide an extra set of eyes and ears along with a visible presence in the community. Over the years, COPs has helped recover stolen vehicles and identified crimes in progress to allow for the timely arrival of officers. COPs is a special subset of the RRCPAAA, requiring additional training.
